The arts are a very important part of the developmental stages of all children. It helps to shape and develop their motor skills, decision-making skills, visual skills, etc. Photography is not only an art it also has many scientific elements to it as well.
Photography is about capturing details, light, and moments and solidifying those precious moments in time. It is an art that over time can be developed into a career! This summer camp program will nurture and expand your child's love of creativity, photography and they can enjoy the added bonus of being outside and having lots of fun!
Children (and adults) feel most confident when they have completed something that excites them and following through, seeing a project from beginning to end gives them a sense of accomplishment, pride, it builds on their self-image and confidence.

Not to mention they get to meet new people and make new friends, they are outside and getting to see nature in new and different ways, and overall they have fun!
