I have known Mike a long time, he’s family! When he called from Texas asking me to capture his, soon to be, family of course I said yes… Then he hit me with the catch. It had to be done within a couple of days because they were going to be heading out of town soon. Not a problem!

Fall in Michigan is a fickle affair. It is always beautiful, but the weather is a prankster. One day it is a warm fall day and the next there is 2 feet of snow outside your door. This particular day was rather cold, so we needed an indoor/outdoor location. I found the perfect location, take a look below and tell me what you think

If this session felt a little like an engagement session, it wasn’t… Mike did secretly have plans of proposing to Alesha. A few weeks later Mike proposed and when they sent out their announcement/save the date magnets they used images from this session on the invite! The invites were beautiful and unique.
